The story of Abbott Staffing Group began with Abbott Staffing Companies, an Orange County-based staffing firm founded in 1970. In 2009, Eastridge formed a new subsidiary, Abbott Staffing Group, which acquired certain assets of Abbott Staffing Companies.
The new subsidiary carries on the legacy of Abbott Staffing Companies and infuses it with a wealth of resources exclusive to the Eastridge brand. A privately held staffing enterprise founded in 1971, Eastridge is headquartered in San Diego with offices across the nation. Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. named Eastridge among the Largest Staffing Firms in the U.S. – in both private and public sectors.
Continuing our presence in Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, Abbott Staffing Group is an employment expert in the regions it serves. 1970: Louise Pomeroy founds Abigail Abbott Staffing Services in Santa Ana, Calif., providing direct-hire placement.
1976: Temporary staffing services division launches.
1984: Abigail Abbott Staffing Services receives the National Association of Personnel Consultants Ethics Award.
1992: National Association of Personnel Services awards Abigail Abbott Staffing Services with the Harold B. Nelson Memorial Award.
1993: Founder Louise Pomeroy receives Elizabeth Dole Glass Ceiling Award.
1995: Accounting staffing services division opens.
1995: Founder Louise Pomeroy retires.
1996: Light industrial staffing division opens.
